Can I just use baby shampoo on my dog?

Soap can be especially drying to a pet’s skin and leave residue in the fur, causing itching, dandruff and shedding.

Can I just use baby wipes on my dog?

Pets' skin tends to be more sensitive and absorbs more than human skin, so it's best to use products that are specially formulated for our fur babies.

Why should I wash my cat?

Is it necessary to use conditioner after shampoo?

ou don't have to use earthbath® conditioner in conjunction with an earthbath® shampoo, but we highly recommend it for the best results!

How often can I wash my pet with earthbath® products?

In general, most dogs and cats will not need a bath more than once a week.

My dog has fleas. Can earthbath® help?

Our products are safe to use with and will not wash off commercial flea control products. However, if you’re looking for a more natural solution, earthbath Dirty Dog Shampoo is very popular.

Are earthbath® shampoos flea treatment compatible?

earthbath® shampoos are soap free, so you can safely use them in conjunction with topical flea treatment products.

How soon can I wash my pet after applying topical flea treatments?

Pets should not be bathed 48 hours before or 48 hours after applying the topical flea applications.

My dog has really dry skin. What products can I use?

We would recommend our earthbath® Oatmeal & Aloe products, as they are specifically formulated to address dry, itchy skin.

My dog has really itchy skin. What products can I use?

For itchy skin, we recommend either earthbath® Oatmeal & Aloe Shampoo or earthbath® Hot Spot Shampoo.

My pet has really sensitve skin. What products can I use?

If your pet has sensitive skin, we would suggest earthbath® Hypo-Allergenic Shampoo or Fragrance Free Oatmeal & Aloe Shampoo.

Are earthbath® products safe to use on other pets like rabbits, hamsters, etc.?

Absolutely! The most important criterion for pet shampoo is that it be mild and pH-balanced. All of our products are formulated with the mildest ingredients available and are pH-balanced for safety and mildness for animals’ sensitive skin.
